Karl M. Neves, 53, of New Bedford died Monday September 19, 2005 at Lahey Clinic after a brief illness.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Manuel A. Neves of New Bedford and the late Mary A. (Barros) Neves, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
He was a communicant of in Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church.
Mr. Neves was employed as a long distance truck driver for over 25 years.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Mr. Neves enjoyed boating and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his father; a son, Karl M. Neves, Jr. of New Bedford; two daughters, Nicole Neves and Jessika Neves, both of New Bedford; a sister, Karen J. Barnett of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Kathleen M. Neves.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Saturday, September 24th at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday, September 23rd from 4-8 PM.
Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Wareham.
