Katherine "Kathy" M. (Tower) Whelan, 46, of Marion died August 12, 2006 unexpectedly at home.
She was the wife of Kevin J. Whelan.
Born in Wareham, the daughter of the late Albert W. and Barbara M. (DeCosta) Tower, she lived in Marion all her life.
Kathy was a communicant of St. Rita's Church.
She was formerly employed by Cliftex for 10 years as a payroll clerk, and recently was the proprietor of her own cleaning services.
Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband; 2 daughters, Audra M. Whelan and Barbara D. Whelan of Marion; 1 brother, Albert W. Tower, III and his wife Debbie of Rochester; 2 nieces, Bethany & Amanda Tower.
She was the daughter-in-law of the late Doris (Allaire) Whelan-Reed.
Her Family will receive guests on Tuesday, August 15th from 9 to 10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd., Mattapoisett followed by her Graveside Service in Evergreen Cemetery, Marion at 10:30 AM.
