Kenneth Camara

Kenneth P. Camara, 76, of New Bedford died December 22, 2025 unexpectedly at home.
He was the husband of Pamela J. (Swanton) Camara.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Vasco Manuel Camara and Particia P. (Pope) Camara, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
He was formerly employed at Alberox for over 25 years until his retirement.
Mr. Camara served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed the company of his friends at the 6th Bristol Club, Paul's Sports Garden and the Whaling City Golf Course. He also enjoyed sitting in the sun.
Survivors include his wife Pamela; a sister-in-law, Lisa Thurber and her husband Charles; and a nephew, Brandon Thurber.
He was the brother of the late Bradley Camara.
His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 5th at 10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
