Kevin F. DeTerra, 67, of New Bedford passed away at home on Sunday January 14, 2018.
Born in Acushnet, the son of the late Francis H. and Ermine (Treadup) DeTerra, he lived in New Bedford and Dartmouth for most of his life.
Kevin was formerly employed as a campus security office at UMass Dartmouth until his retirement.
He enjoyed martial arts, golfing, and shooting. He was a member of the New Bedford Rifle Club.
He is survived by his children, Lisa Bates and her husband Kurt of Rochester and Scott DeTerra of New Bedford; his brother, David DeTerra of New Bedford; and two grandchildren, Hunter and Owen Bates.
