Kevin A. Ramos, 25, of Huntington, CA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 3, 2026 from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
Born and raised in New Bedford, son of Eneida Ruiz Rodriguez of Randolph and Hector A. Ramos of New Bedford, he lived in Randolph during his teen years before moving to California at the age of 22. While in California, he was employed at Eco Coffee and a manufacturing warehouse where his coworkers described him as incredibly hardworking.
Kevin enjoyed going to concerts, listening to music, watching baseball, spending a day at home playing Xbox with his friends, and he loved to work. During his earlier years, he was an athlete in many different sports including baseball, track, football, and basketball. He had a special way of bringing people together with laughter and jokes and loved sharing his words of wisdom.
Survivors include his parents; a sister, Yexenia Ruiz of Randolph; a brother, Wesley Ramos of New Bedford; his grandparents, Olga Rodriguez of New Bedford, Hector F. Ramos and his wife Joanna of New Bedford and Rosa Hernandez of Connecticut; and many aunts, uncles and cousins who adored him and will hold onto every memory with love.
He was the grandson of the late Ramon Ruiz, Sr.
His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 13th at 11 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, His family will receive guests from 10 - 11 AM prior to his service. The family kindly asks anyone attending the service to please wear white to symbolize peace and the soul's transition into God's embrace.
