Laura L. (Labelle) Colangelo, 66, of Fairhaven died Saturday, May 25, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Romeo and Mary (Brackett) Labelle, she was raised in New Bedford and later moved to Fairhaven where she lived for many years.

She was formerly employed as a waitress at the Shawmut Diner for many years.

Laura enjoyed playing cards with her friends, joking and making people laugh.  She was a very caring person and enjoyed taking care of others and her pets, especially her dog Ginger.

She is survived by two daughers, Leeann Jupin and her husband Nicholas, and Gina Aquilano and her husband John; five siblings, Mark Labelle, Michelle Labelle, Brian Labelle, Sandra Labelle, and Brenda Bessette; five grandchildren, Abigail, Samuel, Owen, Lillian, and Dominic; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her longtime partner, Rick Pacheco; her brother, Bruce Labelle; and her sister, Donna Labelle.
