Laurette (Dufresne) Kutis, 95, of Dartmouth died September 29, 2014 at the Royal of Fairhaven after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Francis Kutis.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of late Alphonse and Exilda (Bilodeau) Dufresne, she lived in New Bedford most of her life. She was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church.
Mrs. Kutis was formerly employed as head secretary at Goodyear for many years until her retirement.
She enjoyed golfing and dancing.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was the sister of the late Viola Krause, Rita Atchison and Rene Dufresne.
Her Funeral will be held on Thursday, October 2nd at 9 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Julie Billiart Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours Wednesday, October 1st from 4-7 PM.
