Leonora G. (Gracia) Perry, 90, of New Bedford died October 13, 2007 at Hathaway Manor Extended Care Facility.
She was the wife of the late Edmund V. Perry.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph and Emma (Cabral) Gracia, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Mrs. Perry was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church.
She was employed as a registered nurse for many years first at St. Luke's Hospital operating room, later at Revere Copper and Brass as an industrial nurse before retiring as a public health nurse for the City of New Bedford.
Mrs. Perry was a member of the Quota Club.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Linda M. Perry of South Hadley, MA and Susan C. Perry of Plymouth; a niece and a nephew; several cousins.
She was the sister of the late Gilbert Gracia.


Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 16th at 12:30 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday, October 15th from 4-7 PM.
