Lillian (Galego) Carvalho, 53, of New Bedford died Saturday May 14, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late John and Maria (Rebelo) Galego.

Survivors include two daughters, Crystal Cote-Campos and her husband Sergio of Dartmouth and Stephanie Silva of New Bedford; her brother, Henry Galego and his wife Judy of East Freetown; her sister-in-law, Carol Galego of Lakeville; and her granddaughter, Serenity Monty.

She was the sister of the late John Galego.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday morning from 9-11 AM. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
