Linda May (Girouard) Lawrence, 78, of Westport died peacefully at home Saturday, October 23, 2021. She was the wife of Philip Lawrence, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Lionel Girouard and the late Cecelia (Swiatlowski) Girouard, she lived in Westport for most of her life.

Linda enjoyed life, traveling the world, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Philip; her father, Lionel; her son, Kevin Lawrence and his wife Tammy of Dartmouth; her step-son, Philip M. Lawrence and his wife Claire of Acushnet; and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Kathy (Lawrence) Moniz.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 9 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, with her funeral procession leaving the funeral home at 10 AM for Beech Grove Cemetery in Westport.
