Linda M. (Barros) Robinson, 78, of New Bedford died August 10, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Ronald F. Robinson.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Antone F. and Pauline (Barros) Faria, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was formerly employed as a cook with the New Bedford School Department for many years until her retirement.
She loved dancing, playing family games and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her 3 children, Le-Teisha "TD" Robinson, Ronnette Barros and her fiancé Jerry Davis, and Spencer Barros and his partner Jamal Davis; a sister-in-law, Roberta Lowery; 5 grandchildren, Dane Barros, Ronald Robinson II, Darcyle Robinson, Jaymie-Lyn Robinson and Courtney Robinson; 7 great-grandchildren, Ariana Ferreira, Ja'niyah Barros, Cameron Barros, Jae'ana Barros, Legend Barros, David Harrison and Arianna Robinson; 4 Godchildren, Robin Atkinson, Rebecca Fernandez, Nequisha Rivera and Cathy Monteiro and many nieces and nephews.
She was the great-grandmother of the late Dane Barros, Jr. and the sister of the late Ann Monteiro, Anthony "Chico" Faria, T.C. Cope, Joyce Pine and Mark Antone.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 14th at 9 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday, August 13th from 4-8 PM.
