Lois M. (Needham) Goes, 91, of New Bedford died September 27, 2024 peacefully at home.
She was the wife of the late Everett Goes.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late James and Amy (Johnson) Needham, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a member of St. Martin's Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Goes was formerly employed at Aerovox for many years until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Martin's Episcopal Church.
She was a member of Mt. Carmel Seniors.
Survivors include her daughter, Darlene Pereira and her husband Paul of Fairhaven; a sister, Amy Crowell of New Bedford; 4 grandchildren, Melissa Rogers, Ashley Curvelo, Meghan Goes and Ryan Goes; 5 great-grandchildren, Layla Goes, Elayna Fernandes, Tyler Fernandes, Jeremiah Rogers and Sawyer Rogers; and numerous nieces and nephews including Dennis Audette and his wife Marie of New Bedford.
She was the mother of the late Douglas Goes and the brother of the late Frank Needham, John Needham, Olive Audette, Lily Nicewicz and Ellen Mendes.
Her funeral arrangements will be private.
