Lucy E. (Deree) Pasteris, 84, of New Bedford died Friday August 10, 2007 at Our Lady's Haven after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Pasteris.

Born in Brockton, the daughter of the late Ernest L. and Mildred M. (Gingras) Deree, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

Mrs. Pasteris was formerly employed as a presser at Purity Diaper Company.

She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.

Survivors include four children, Christine Robinson, Patricia Pasteris, and Daniel E. Pasteris, all of New Bedford, and Joseph A. Pasteris, Jr. of Springhill, FL; 11 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late Ernest Deree, Howard Deree, and Richard Deree.

A private family committal service was held on Friday moring in Rural Cemetery.
