Luis A. (Geliga) DiCenso, 34, of Providence, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 21, 2022. He was the husband of Antonietta DiCenso.

Born and raised in New Bedford, he was the son of the late Reinaldo Geliga and Darlene S. (Hurley) Sanchez.

Luis enjoyed working with his hands and understanding the mechanics of things. He used to build and modify toys for his siblings. He had a big heart and would give the shirt off his back to help others. Luis will be remembered as a happy person.

Survivors include his wife; his siblings, Hector Sanchez, Josh Sanchez, Reinaldo Geliga, Jr., Robert Geliga, Ramon Geliga, and Margie Geliga.

He is predeceased by his parents; and his brother Javier Sanchez.
