Lydia D. (Medeiros) Verissimo, 96, of Acushnet died November 2, 2018 at Our Ladys Haven.
She was the wife of the late John B. Verissimo.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph D. and Maria C. (Medeiros) Medeiros, she lived in Acushnet most of her life.
She was formerly employed by Knapp Shoes for many years.
Survivors include her daughter, Helen Kirby of New Bedford; and a step-daughter, Robin Quintin of New Bedford.
She was the mother of the late Raymond Lacerda, and sister of the late Irene Morock, Elvira Mello, Matilda Barboza and Joseph Medeiros; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
