Lyla (Bagielto) Barros, 69, of New Bedford passed away at home on Thursday February 13, 2020.

Born in New York City, the daughter of the late Jeannette (Jansen) Bagielto, she lived in New Bedford for many years.

Lyla especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Lillian Barros and her spouse Eddie Gomez, Jacqueline Barros, Angela Bagielto, and Wendy Meza; her grandchildren, Alex, Britteny, Austin, Evan, Kristina, Celina, and Osvalso; her great-grandchildren, Nevaiah, Avah'lynn, Alex, Sophia, Wyatt, Athena, and Ziggy; and several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.

Her visiting hours will be held on Wednesday February 19, 2020 from 4-7 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her family. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
