Manuel J. "Manski" Andrews, 55, of Boston and formerly New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 10, 2024.

Born in New Bedford, son of the late James Andrews, Sr., and Marilyn (Rebeiro) Andrews, he lived in New Bedford for many years before moving to Boston.

He was a behavioral specialist at Healing Home Inc., with a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. He enjoyed being able to share his story and accomplishments of sobriety with others. He went to detox centers, jails, and the Hope House in Boston where he shared his story and supported others on their journey. He was very involved with his church, Victory Outreach Church, in Boston and was able to tell his story and support there as well.

Survivors include his children, Manny Andrews, Jr., Imani Andrews, and Kyalissa Andrews; his niece Teisha; his grandchildren, Serenity, Victoria, and Kyaire; his siblings, James A. Andrews, Jr., Clyde M. Andrews, Joanne A. Andrews, Dorothy L. Andrews; George A., and Michael "Smurf" A.; his cousins, Tanya, TJ, Tyson, Tori Lee, Tiara, and many others.

He is predeceased by his son Devon J. Andrews.

Manny's visitation will be held Friday, June 21st from 4-7 PM with a service held at 7 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
