Margaret "Peggy" Warner Barnum, age 72, of Harker's Island, NC died Saturday, May 23, 2009. She enjoyed time with family and friends, working for non-profit organizations, baseball, boating, and travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lyman and Priscilla Warner.

She is survived by her husband, Donald A. Barnum; sisters, Priscilla Duncan; Katherine Beach; Lynn (Gary) Short; Audrey (John) Speer, step children Bonnie (R.Kelly) Boyd and Donald R. Barnum. Two granchildren, James D. Fortier and Corey Lynn Fortier. Several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday May 27, 2009 from 10-11 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11AM at St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church, 124 Front St., Marion, MA. Burial will follow at Old Landing Second Edition Cemetery, Marion, MA. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
