Margaret V. (Bertalotto) Coucci, 100, of New Bedford passed peacefully in her sleep at Sacred Heart Home on Monday July 25, 2016. She was the wife of the late Albert T. Coucci.

Born in Whitehall, NY, the daughter of the late Vincent Bertalotto and Emily (Buser) Bertalotto Benedetti, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in New Bedford, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild.

Mrs. Coucci was formerly employed as a bookkeeper for the family business, Baylies Square Plate Glass Company.

Survivors include three children, Thomas Coucci and his wife Helen of New Bedford, Sandra Perrone and her husband Joseph of Fairhaven, and Robert Coucci and his wife Teresa of Maiden, NC; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Vincent Bertalotto.

Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of St. Michael's Unit at Sacred Heart Home and Beacon Hospice for their loving care extended to Margaret.
