Margaret C. (Coelho) Cunha, 98, of Lakeville died July 20, 2016 at Island Terrace Nursing Home.
She was the wife of the late John Cunha and the companion of the late James Correia.
Born in Graciosa, Azores, the daughter of the late Luis S. and Evelyn (Trinidad) Coelho, she lived in New Bedford and Acushnet most of her life before moving to Brookdale Assisted Living.
Mrs. Cunha was formerly employed as a legal secretary with Atty. Joseph Freitas and later was employed by the Standard-Times for 25 years until her retirement.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Armand S. Coelho.
Her private service was held Saturday, July 23rd with burial in St. John's Cemetery.
