Margaret F. (Krouzek) Ferreira, 83, of Acushnet passed away unexpectedly on Monday December 26, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late James E. Ferreira.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret A. (Morris) Krouzek, she lived in New Bedford and Acushnet for most of her life.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan A. Costa and her husband Jerry of New Bedford; her sister, Rita Souza and her husband Dave of Fairhaven; and her granddaughter, Jennifer Costa.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. A private family burial will be in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 5-8 PM. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
