Maria V. (Barton) Economos, 96, of Lakeville died March 17, 2012 at Island Terrace Nursing Home.
She was the wife of the late James D. Economos.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Arthur and Roseline (Savoy) Barton, she lived in Lakeville for most of her life.
Mrs. Economos was a communicant of Sts. Martha and Mary Church.
She enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida.Survivors include a son, James P. Economos and his wife Margaret of Lakeville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Clifton Barton, Norman Barton and William Barton.
