Marie S. (Duke) Andrade, 105, of Dartmouth died November 10, 2025 peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was the wife of the late Frank "Whaler" Andrade.

Born and raised in New Bedford, daughter of the late Manuel F. and Mary Stella (Moniz) Duke, she lived in Dartmouth since 1960.

Mrs. Andrade was a communicant of St. Mary's Church for 67 years.

She was formerly employed by Morse Twist Drill for over 40 years until her retirement.

As the matriarch of her family, she was devoted to her family and friends.

Mrs. Andrade enjoyed line dancing, sewing, knitting, crocheting and sang with the Keynote Singers.

She was a member of the Goodyear Seniors, Portuguese American Senior Citizens and Portuguese American Civic League.

Survivors include her son, Raymond Andrade of Dartmouth and her granddaughter, Christy Andrade of New Bedford.

She was the grandmother of the late James Manley and the sister of the late Jack Duke, John Duke and Agnes Ibbotson.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, November 15 th at 9 AM in St. Mary's Church, 795 Dartmouth St. Dartmouth. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
