Marie V. (Mendes) Oliver, 94, of New Bedford died February 14, 2019 at Sippican Health Care Center.
She was the wife of the late George Oliver.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Joseph J. and Maria M. (Pedro) Mendes, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She volunteered as the gift shop manager at St. Luke's Hospital for 53 years until her retirement.
She enjoyed the company of her dog Baxter.
Survivors include her daughter Sandra Hern and her husband Herbert of New Bedford; and a special niece, Joanne Mendes of Melbourne, FL.
She was the sister of the late Joseph Mendes, Edmund Sylvia and John Silva.
