Mark Harrington 1947-2025

Mark Harrington, 78, of Dartmouth, Massachusetts passed away at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

Mark was a beloved teacher and guidance counselor serving 36 years at Dartmouth Middle School. He was also a devoted member of the Saint George Greek Orthodox Church, serving as a Parish Council member for many years. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or provide guidance.

Above all, Mark always said that being a husband, a father, and a papou was the greatest joy of his life. He loved walking the Anthony's Beach with his wife Touly, spending time with his children and watching his grandchildren learn about the world. Known for his "Papou pancakes" and "Papou pizza" by his grandchildren, he will be sorely missed. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Photoula Harrington; his three children and their spouses Alexander Harrington and Lisa Hagen, Demetrious and Jen Harrington, and Stephanie and Michael Sloan; and six grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Harrington, and extended family including several nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Service will be held at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church on Monday, June 16th at 10 AM. His family will receive guest in church from 9 AM - 10 AM prior to his Funeral Service.
