Mary L. (Fredette) Beyer, 75, of New Bedford died Tuesday March 21, 2006 at the Cedars Assisted Living Facility in Dartmouth after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Ralph P. Beyer, who died on February 1, 2006.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Walter D. and Mary L. (Foley) Fredette, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.

She was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church.

Mrs. Beyer was formerly employed as the office manager for Vermette and Bates Insurance Agency for many years until her retirement. She also was an accordian teacher at DeRossi's Music School for 22 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Ann Telesmanick, and her husband Richard, of New Bedford, and Patricia Ozug of Fall River; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Walter D. Fredette, Jr.

A private Funeral Mass was held on Saturday morning in St. Lawrence Church. Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bedford.
