Mary J. Donahue, 68, of New Bedford died Sunday June 27, 2010.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Elsie H. (King) Donahue and the late Thomas A. Donahue, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

She was a graduate of Holy Family High School.

Survivors include her mother; a daughter, Carolyn A. Cote of Florida; a son, Christopher T. Hawes of New Bedford; a brother, Raymond A. Donahue of Florida; and two grandchildren, Thomas Cote and Patrick Hawes-DeFrias.

She was the sister of the late Thomas A. Donahue, Jr.

Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM at St. Mary's Church, Tarkiln Hill Rd. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted. For online condolence book, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
