Mary C. (Martin) Fournier, 100 of Hanover, formerly of New Bedford died August 19, 2002 at home after a brief illness.

She was the wife of the late Joseph Henry Fournier,and daughter of the late Patrick A. and Mary (Downey) Martin.

Mrs. Fournier was born in Droughda, County Louth, Ireland and came to the United State in 1909. She lived in New Bedford for most of her life before moving to Hanover 6 years ago.

She was a former communicant of St. Hedwig's Church in New Bedford, where she was a member of St. Hedwig's Senior Citizens.

Survivors include 2 sons, Milton J. Fournier of New Bedford, and Joseph H. Fournier of Winter Park, Fla.; 2 daughters, Mary Lorraine Lepire of Hanover, and D. Patricia Fournier of Vero Beach, Fla.; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New BedfordFriday, August 23rd at 8:30 AM.Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Grace Church,Westport at 10 AM.Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

Visiting hours Thursday, August 22nd 4-8 PM.
