Mary R. (Gnudi) Gaudette, 88, of New Bedford passed away July 8, 2013 at The Oaks Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was the wife of Normand L. Gaudette.
Born in Wallington, CT, the daughter of the late Ettori and Adeline (Bernadoni) Gnudi, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
Mrs. Gaudette was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in New Bedford.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, bowling, spending time with her family and was an avid Boston RedSox fan.
Survivors include her husband; her son, Paul Gaudette and his wife Pauline of New Bedford; 2 daughters, Janet Poitras and her husband Wayne of Acushnet and Doreen Laboa and her husband Gary of Rochester; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Bruna Esposito, Dina Notargiovanni, Alfred Gnudi and Dino Gnudi.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 11th at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday morning from 9-11 AM prior to her service.
