Mary Joan (Doyle) Murray, 74, of Bozrah, CT,died May 11, 2010 unexpectedly at William W. Backus Hospital.
She was the wife of Raymond J. Murray with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (Hurley) Doyle, she lived in Bozrah for most of her life.
She was a communicant of St. John's Church in Bozrah.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Joseph Murray of Bozrah; 4 daughters, Katherine Murray and Joan Murray, both of Colchester, CT, Jane Parziale and her husband Anthony of West Palm Beach, FL, and Mary Ann Murray of Boston; 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Morgan and Michaela; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late John Doyle.
Her family will receive guests on Monday morning, May 17th from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford followed by her Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 11 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
