Mary S. (Vaughan) Wilson, 95, of Mattapoisett died March 20, 2009 at Our Lady's Haven after a long illness.
She was the wife of the late James Moores and Afton Wilson.
Born in Mattapoisett, the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice (Davenport) Vaughan, she lived in New Bedford before returning to Mattapoisett in 1963.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Bedford.
She enjoyed knitting afghans.
Survivors include her daughter, Winifred Moores of Mattapoisett; a brother, Allen Vaughan of Dartmouth; many nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 24th at 10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett. Burial will follow in Cushing Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday, March 23rd from 4-7 PM.
