Maryann J. (Tetrault) DeMelo, 51, of New Bedford died Friday September 29, 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Norman and Mary (Langford) Tetrault, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

Maryann was a graduate of Bishop Stang High School and attended Bristol Community College.

Survivors include a son, George Sean DeMelo of Hanover; five brothers, Norman Tetrault of Margate, FL, Wayne Tetrault and Paul Tetrault, both of New Bedford, Rev. Ralph Tetrault of Fall River, and Gregory Tetrault of Westport; four sisters, Susan Bryon-Royster of Gloucester, Nancy Rochon of Leesburg, FL, Pamela Silva of Dartmouth, and Valerie Fogarty of Worcester; and nieces and nephews.


Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 9 AM in Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
