Maryanne Lomba, 70, of New Bedford died Monday, May 11, 2020 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Manuel and Helen (Rosario) Lomba, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.

Maryanne enjoyed politics, debates and was always learning.

She is survived by her sister, Lelia Goncalves; her aunt, Mary Barros; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Daniel Lomba, Bernice DeAndrade, and Joanne Lomba.
