Mateo Anthony Morales, 15, of New Bedford passed away suddenly on Wednesday August 24, 2016.
A lifelong resident of New Bedford, he was a graduate of Keith Middle School and was about to enter the ninth grade this coming week. He had been a member of the Boys and Girls Club of New Bedford and the Spiritual Warriors. He enjoyed playing basketball and dancing.
He is survived by his mother, Nakeya Lynn Cruz; his father, Eduardo Morales; his stepfather, Ryan Tavares; his siblings, Tatianna Morales, Jordan Lopez, and Tyrel Tavares; his grandmother, Donna Cruz; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
