Michael Barboza

Michael Anthony Barboza, 63, of New Bedford passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 5, 2025.

Born in New Bedford, son of Vivian (Ramos) Barboza and the late Henry Barboza, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.

Mike enjoyed fishing, listening to music, watching the San Francisco 49ers, going out with friends, and his work as a drywaller.

Survivors include his sons, Brandon Soto, Justin Mayo, Michael Barboza II, and Jordan Barboza; his siblings, Julianna Hines, James Hines, Brian Hines and his wife Rosa, Peter Barboza, Anthony Barboza and Todd Gomes; and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his siblings, Paul Barboza and Maria Barboza.
