Michael H. Travers
Michael H. Travers, 77, of New Bedford passed away suddenly on Tuesday May 26, 2026 at St Luke's Hospital. He was the son of the late Herbert and A. Patricia (Muldoon) Travers.
Michael retired after a long time position with the City of New Bedford.
He is survived by his cousins, Kathi, Rick, Fr. Tom and Pat Gaughan. The family would like to express our gratitude to the staff at Davita Dialysis and Webster Bank in Dartmouth along with all Mike's close friends who were so supportive throughout his life.
His funeral service will be held on Friday June 5th at 11 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-11 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
