Michael Bruce Houlihan, 64, of Dartmouth died Thursday January 21, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.

Born in Middleboro, the son of the late Barbara (Houlihan) Lind, he lived in Taunton before moving to Dartmouth 20 years ago.

Mr. Houlihan was formerly employed as a drywaller.

Survivors include his companion, Susan Tardiff of Dartmouth; two children, Michael B. Houlihan Jr. and Colleen Houlihan, both of Taunton; two stepdaughters, Jami Harju of New Bedford and Marie Tardiff of Taunton; a brother, Ronald Lind of Taunton; two sisters, Michelle Chaves of Taunton and Sheila Perry of New Bedford; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Private arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
