Michael J. Luby, 64, of New Bedford passed away on Monday November 13, 2017.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Dr. Lawrence J. and Mary (Welsh) Luby, he lived in Dartmouth for most of his life.
Michael enjoyed writing poetry.
He is survived by his sister, Sheila A. McBroom; his brother-in-law, Thomas McBroom; and several cousins and friends.
A private family memorial service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
