Michael Charles Swift, 36, of New Bedford died Friday September 26, 2008.

Born in New Bedford, the son of Joan E. (Radziewicz) and Charles P. Swift, Jr. of Freetown, he lived in Freetown for most of his life.

Survivors include his parents; a son, Jacob Swift and his mother Brenda Allerdt of Fairhaven; two sisters, Charlene Swift of Freetown and Elizabeth Cabral and her husband Chris of Fall River; his grandfather, Joseph Radziewicz of Dartmouth; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private funeral service was held on Friday morning at Acushnet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please forward donations to the Jacob Swift Scholarship Fund, c/o Brenda Allerdt, P.O.
