Mildred O. (Reynolds) Perry, 97, of Mattapoisett died Thursday January 13, 2011 at Our Lady's Haven. She was the wife of the late Edmund Perry.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Llewellyn B. and Mary E. (Oliver) Reynolds, she lived in Fairhaven and Mattapoisett most of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Mattapoisett.
Mrs. Perry was formerly employed by Revere Copper and Brass as a bookkeeper until her retirement.
She was a member of the St. Anthony's Ladies Guild. Mrs. Perry enjoyed knitting and gardening. She was an accomplished seamstress and embroiderer.
She is survived by three stepchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her family wishes to acknowledge the loving care provided by the staff at Our Lady's Haven during her last illness.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Mildred's name to the Patient Assistance Fund at Our Lady's Haven, 71 Center St., Fairhaven, MA 02719.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals, 50 County Rd. (Rt. 6) Mattapoisett Wednesday, January 19th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
