Nadeen (Monteiro) Jordan, 68, of New Bedford passed away on March 21, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Willard R. and Mary A. (Lopes) Monteiro, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Nadeen was formerly employed as a cook with the New Bedford School Department for many years until her retirement.
Survivors include her daughter Michelle Jordan and her husband Joseph Williams of New Bedford; 3 brothers, Gerald Monteiro and Baron Monteiro, both of New Bedford and Joseph Monteiro of Fall River; 2 granddaughters, Treajah Williams and Courtney Williams; 4 grandsons, Tashawn Williams, Tyrelle Williams and his girlfriend Fabiana DeBarros, Tyrek Williams and his girlfriend Sa-Leigh Tetreault and Joseph Williams; 5 great-grandchildren, Jayce, August, Zaydrian, Mya and baby girl Williams coming in August; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was the sister of the late Cynthia Monteiro, Matthew "Marty" Monteiro, Willard Monteiro, Jr., Stephen Monteiro and Donna Gaylor.
Her visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 1st from 2-6 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford with a prayer service at 5:30 PM.
