Nettie Ann Becht, 36, of New Bedford died unexpectedly on Friday August 14, 2009.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of the late Sandra Lynn (Becht) Cortes and Ronald Hamlin, she lived in New Bedford for the past 11 years.

Nettie was formerly employed as a certified nursing assistant at Bedford Village Nursing Home and Blaire House.

Survivors include three sons, Devin Santiago, Anthony Almeida, and Ethan Almeida; three sisters, Patricia Ann Becht, Bonnie Lynn Cortes, and Sandra Lynn Cortes; and several nieces and nephews.
