Obituary

Olive (Robin) Penha, 90, of New Bedford died April 10, 2011 at Sacred Heart Home after a period of declining health.
She was the wife of the late Americo A. Penha.
Born in and raised in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Alexandre and Flora (Mello) Robin, she lived in Dartmouth since 1964.
Mrs. Penha was a communicant of St. George's Church in Westport.
She served as a W.A.V.E. in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include her daughter, Robin Servais and her husband Jean of Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Gertrude Vessella and Wilfred Robin.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Wednesday, April 13th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. George's Church at 10 AM. Burial at 3 PM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday, April 12th from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Town of Dartmouth on behalf of and for the benefit of the North Dartmouth Library Branch, 732 Dartmouth St., Dartmouth, MA 02748.
