Olive (Teves) Peters, 82, of Fairhaven died September 15, 2003 at Alden Court Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.

She was the wife of the late Edward C. "Buddy" Peters,and daughter of the late Francisco F. and Inez (Almeida) Teves.

Mrs. Peters was born in New Bedford and had lived in Dartmouth for most of her life.

She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.

Mrs. Peters was formerly employed at Cliftex Manufacturing for many years until her retirement.

Survivors include 2 sisters, and Dorothy Ramos, and her husband Albert, of Fairhaven and Hilda Costa of New Bedford; several nieces and nephews including Cynthia Donovan of Fairhaven, who was also her care giver, 2 great-nieces, 2 great-nephews, 1 great-great-niece.

She was the sister of the late Mary Moreno, Priscilla Sylvia and Arcenio Furtado.
