IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pamela J.
Fisher
October 15, 1959 – April 30, 2025
Pamela J. Fisher, 65, of New Bedford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Eugenia "Jana" (DaGraca) Fisher and granddaughter of the late Pedro DaGraca and Anna (Lopes) DaGraca, she was a life-long resident of New Bedford and a graduate of the New Bedford school system.
Pamela had a quiet spirit, like her mother, and spent many hours making crossword and picture puzzles, just as her mother did. She enjoyed being with her large, close-knit family just spending time and at the many family birthday parties, barbeques, weddings, etc. Pamela had a sweet-tooth for candy, and although she was a quiet soul, singing and dancing was right up her alley when enjoying time with her family and friends. She had a very close relationship with her nieces Valerie Fisher, Sharon Wynn and friend Crystal Baptista. Her favorite sayings were "save it", "jazzy" and "I can't". Pamela believed in God and now she rests at perfect peace in His presence.
Survivors include her companion Wallace Miranda, Sr.; and her siblings, Harriet Duarte, Victoria Houtman, Audrey Wynn, Pastor Leona Fisher, Alan Fisher, Anna Williams, Denise Fisher-Rose, Anita Fisher, Jeffrey Fisher and wife Laura, Carolyn Fisher, and Angela Fisher and companion Leon Gomes.
She is predeceased by her siblings, Bruce Fisher of Providence, RI, Lydia (Fisher) Bascom of Boston, MA, and Dianne Fisher.
She is "Auntie Pam" to numerous nephews and nieces, from great to great-great (too numerous to name here) and also many cousins.
Her visiting hours will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 from 3-7 pm, with a service at 5:00pm, in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. For directions and guestbook, visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
