Patricia (Morris) Cook-Langford, 81, of New Bedford died Wednesday July 18, 2007 at New Bedford Health Care Center after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Francis T. Langford.

Mrs. Cook-Langford was formerly employed as an administrative assistant at the Acushnet Company until her retirement.

She was a graduate of Holy Family High School. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and enjoyed playing cards.

Survivors include her son, Robert R. Cook of New Bedford; a granddaughter, Lisa Davis and her husband Shawn and a great-granddaughter, Maggie, all of East Providence, RI; and two sisters, Claire Schmitz of Oakland, CA and Elizabeth Rose of Foxboro.

Her family will receive visitors at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford on Wednesday from 4-7 PM.
