Patricia Mary Dextradeur

May 22, 1941 - December 31, 2024

Patricia Mary Dextradeur passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, at the age of 83.

Born on May 22, 1941 in New Bedford, MA, to Elsa and Henry Wright, Patricia was the eldest of their seven children. Patricia, Judith, Jane, Michael, Steven, Lisa and Christine.

She was a life long artist earning her bachelors degree in textile design from New Bedford Institute of Technology class of 1962.  She was prolific painter in watercolor, acrylic and oil. In the 80's she earned a bachelors degree in accounting, later working as CFO in a tech startup in Waltham, MA.

She had a love of the arts frequenting museums concerts and the symphony. She loved vacationing on Martha's Vineyard with her children and grandchildren and spending time with her sisters.

Patricia Dextradeur is survived by her three children; Karen Bottorff (Emory Bottorff) of  Tavernier, FL, Jill Pedersen (Mark Pedersen) of Marion MA, and her son Scott Dextradeur of Mt. Plesant, PA., and five grandchildren Christian and Brian Bottorff, Hailey Pedersen, and Theodore and Jacob Dextradeur.

Her memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 10-11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford followed by her service in the Funeral Home at 11AM and burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
