Patricia M. (Dixon) Putman, 75, of Mattapoisett died February 3, 2004 at Our Lady's Haven after a long illness.

She was the wife of the late Berthold Putman and daughter of the late Charles L. and Edna E. (Summerlin) Dixon.

Mrs. Putman was born in Liverpool, England moving to Boston in 1955 where she worked at Boston Children's Hospital. She moved to Mattapoisett in 1958 where she worked as a librarian at the Mattapoisett Public Library and at the Mattapoisett School System.

She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in New Bedford.

Survivors include 3 daughters Valerie J. Ryan of Hingham, MA, Diane L. Kurita of Torrance, CA and Sarah K. Johnson of Ft. Wayne, IN; 6 grandchildren.

Her Funeral Services will be private.
