Pauline (Querim) Costa, 57, of New Bedford died January 6, 2010 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of Russell S. Costa.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late John and Olga (Hatzis) Querim, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Mrs. Costa was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Steven Costa of New Bedford; 2 daughters, Sherry Francis and her husband Glen and Heidi Costa and her companion John Reed, all of New Bedford; a brother, John Querim of New York City; a sister, Athena Demers of Newport; 6 grandchildren, Kevin, Haley, Zachary, Glen, Jr., Brianna and John, Jr.; several nieces and nephews including Cheryl Nelson, William Menard and Norman Demers, Jr.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 11th at 10 AM in St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 186 Cross Rd., Dartmouth. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday, January 10th from 2-5 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
