Phyllis A. (Stewart) Harris, 59, of New Bedford died Thursday March 18, 2010 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in San Antonio, Texas, the daughter of the late Edgar and Clara Mae (Bush) Stewart, she lived in New Bedford for the past 23 years.

Survivors include four children, Michael Wayne Hampton, Holly Beth Gonzalez, Christy Gail English, and Theresa Ann Lux; her siblings, Terry and Jimmy McDougle and Becky Gardner; thirteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
